ARMM’s RDAC holds second regular meeting
Cotabato City (07 May 2015) – Members of the Regional Development Administration Committee (RDAC) of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) held their second regular meeting this week to discuss the region’s Humanitarian and Development Action Plan (HDAP) for 2016.
The RDAC is one of the sectoral committees of the Regional Economic Development and Planning Board (REDPB), ARMM’s highest policymaking body, which helps assess, evaluate, coordinate and monitor the implementation of programs and projects of the regional government.
The committee tackled on Tuesday the outcome of the recent REDPB meeting and the output presented by planning officers from the different agencies of the region during the first Planners’ Congress held on 04 to 05 March 2015.
They also discussed means to enhance the programs and services of the ARMM government that are aimed at improving the living conditions of communities affected by calamities, and at building resilient and empowered societies in a secured environment.
Lawyer Anwar Malang, ARMM Interior and Local Government secretary, presided over the meeting together with Baintan Ampatuan, executive director of the Regional Planning and Development Board (RPDO) and REDPB head of technical secretariat. (Bureau of Public Information)
