BCH-ARMM sets action plan for 2015
Cotabato City (21 January 2015) – The Bureau on Cultural Heritage-Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BCH-ARMM) conducted on 19 to 20 January a two-day action planning workshop on cultural programs and activities for this year.
Ardan Sali, BCH-ARMM executive director, said the workshop is designed to help them lay down strategies and other plans in line with their approved 2015 work plan and budget.
“We are strategizing the execution of our deliverables for 2015,” he said.
He said that cultural promotion, education and preservation will be the focus of their programs and activities for the year.
He also said that they will further intensify the Bangsamoro cultural education in elementary schools across the region through their Lakbay Kultura program this year as part of their “deliverables”.
Furthermore, he said the workshop was also intended to plan interventions and solutions to the problems, issues, needs and concerns pertaining to cultural heritage of the five provinces in the region.
“We will do our best as far as our mandate is concerned,” he said, affirming that they will exert more effort for the accomplishment of their plans this year. (RMM/Bureau of Public Information)
