Doctor from ARMM bags CSC’s 2014 Dangal ng Bayan award
Cotabato City (04 September 2014)- A doctor from Parang town, Sulu bagged the coveted 2014 Dangal ng Bayan Award of the Civil Service Commission.
Jubaira A. Isnain, chief of Parang District Hospital is the sole Dangal ng Bayan awardee from the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
Isnain hails from Parang, Sulu and has been in government service for almost 25 years.
Another Moro awardee, who also comes from Sulu – one of the component provinces of ARMM, is a policeman now serving in Taguig City.
Police Office III Saldon Arajil, a native of Maimbung, Sulu, serves at the Special Action Force of the Philippine National Police- National Capital Region.
The Civil Service Commission’s (CSC) annual Search for Outstanding Public Officials and Employees, which includes the Dangal ng Bayan Award, seeks to recognize exemplary employees in the civil service.
The Dangal ng Bayan in particular is conferred to individuals for performance of extraordinary act or public service and consistent demonstration of exemplary ethical behavior.
Awardees will receive a trophy designed by National Artist for Sculpture Napoleon V. Abueva and a P250,000.00 cash reward. (Bureau of public Information)
